About Virginia

Virginia Rebata, MPA, RMT, has more than 25 years as an experienced human resources executive. Her professional career includes leadership and exceptional performance in the areas of strategic business planning, focused organizational cultural change; high performance management and breakthrough performance principles; talent management, development and succession planning; and driving a culture of accountability and results-orientation in companies. Virginia has extensive global human resources experience, including management of human resources operations throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Virginia began her career directing large-scale skills training and career counseling programs serving disadvantaged youth in the San Francisco Bay area. She joined Saga Corporation, a $1.1 billion company with 50,000 employees, as director of training and development. When Saga was acquired by Marriott International, she then enjoyed a 15-year, dynamic career with Marriott as vice president of human resources for 120,000 employees in a $4 billion food-service business of Marriott International. She expanded her human resources experience in the financial services industry, serving as senior vice president of human resources at Fortis Financial in New York City, LendingTree, Inc., and at Cedar Enterprise Solutions, LLC. She has headed her own management consulting business for numerous years, and led leadership development at FINRA, (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) promoting investor protection and integrity in the financial markets.

Virginia graduated Phi Beta Kappa with B.A. degrees in Political Science and Spanish Literature from the University of California at Berkeley. She holds a Masters degree in Organizational Development from California State University. Born in Lima, Peru and raised in San Francisco, California, Virginia is multi-lingual in English and Spanish and loves traveling the world with her two daughters.

Virginia’s passion for service and leadership has earned her commendations and awards from state governors, public bodies, CEOs, professional organizations and numerous non-profit boards of directors. Her life’s work and mission include promoting fairness and equity in the workplace, and helping employees to grow and expand their leadership skills, capabilities and contributions.

Virginia is a graduate of the Coach-U Fast Track Core Essentials Program and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She has extensive experience coaching CEO’s and corporate executives. She has obtained her Recovery Coaching Certification through the State of Florida.

Virginia has studied spiritual healing practices of the world’s religions and is certified as a Reiki Level I, II, and III Master Teacher (R.M.T). She is also certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and leads Meditation and Serenity groups.
